Disability and Rehabilitation

The first step towards a successful rehabilitation is the correct diagnosis. Although the number of diagnostic tests increases year after year, they are often offered in English and are developed for patients from different countries with lifestyles that may differ from Ukrainian lifestyles in important ways.

Unfortunately, these features considerably limit options for using international diagnostic tests by Ukrainian professionals. That is why the translation, adaptation and verification of the reliability of the ABILHAND-Kids questionnaire, which has been widely used by professionals from different parts of the world for more than 20 years, is one of the priority areas of work of the research team of the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic.

Their studies resulted into the Ukrainian version of the questionnaire, which will definitely be useful to Ukrainian professionals operating in the area of child rehabilitation.
