On August 1, 2024, a scientific and practical conference titled "Difficult Child: In Search of Diagnosis and Therapy" was held in Kyiv. It was organized by:

• The State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of NAMS of Ukraine"
• The Association of Pediatric Neurologists of Ukraine
• The Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine

This conference was a continuation of the first scientific and practical event, "Modern Achievements of Pediatric Rehabilitation and Neurology," dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine, Academician Volodymyr Kozyavkin, which took place in early June at the Kozyavkin Clinic in Truskavets.

Nataliya Kozyavkina, General Director of the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic and PhD, actively participated in the event. Additionally, the following experts delivered in-depth presentations during the conference:

• Yuriy Antypkin, Director of the State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of NAMS of Ukraine," Academician of the NAMS of Ukraine, President of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine
• Vitaliy Tsymbalyuk, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
• Liudmyla Kyrylova, Head of the Department of Psychoneurology for Children with Perinatal Pathology and Orphan Diseases of the State Institution "IPAG of NAMS of Ukraine," Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, President of the Association of Pediatric Neurologists of Ukraine

Doctors from various regions joined the conference online to discuss critical issues related to diagnosing orphan diseases in children, epileptic seizures and encephalopathies, autism spectrum disorders, and much more.
