Science

Research work of our team traditionally is closely related to the therapeutic process. Our studies are directed towards better understanding of benefits and weak points of different rehabilitation methods, as well as further development of the new rehabilitation system – the Kozyavkin Method.

Our Truskavets’ school of rehabilitation was formed during long years of research and practical work and is known not only in Ukraine, but also in many countries of the world.

Research Projects

Neuroflexor

The aim of the current study is to evaluate an influence of the Spinal Manipulation on muscles spasticity and manual dexterity of patients with Cerebral Palsy.

 

Muscle spasticity was measured quantitatively in 29 patients with CP before treatment, after 1 spinal manipulation and after 2 weeks of treatment.

 

This study indicates that spinal manipulation may decrease spasticity of wrist muscles in patients with Cerebral Palsy.
