The European Association on Early Childhood Intervention (Eurlyaid) is an association of professionals from different fields whose main aim at increasing the quality of life for children with disabilities through early intervention methods.
Every year the association holds a conference not only for professionals, including doctors, special educators, psychologists, and social workers but also for parents of children with special needs.
This year Eurlyaid conference was held in Kharkiv (Ukraine) on October 10-12. The title of the conference was "Early Childhood Intervention: Changing Paradigms through Participatory Practices with Families, Professional and Society." About 300 participants from different parts of Ukraine and the world arrived in Kharkiv for the lectures, workshops, and presentations.
We have been using The Early rehabilitation program in the accredited medical centers by Professor Kozyavkin Method for a long time. The last results of research of the Elita Rehabilitation Center were demonstrated during the conference by researcher Anna Kushnir on the poster presentation "Early intervention program for infants with perinatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury."
