The conference was held under the auspices of Moscow Department of Public Health and the Scientific and Practical Center for Child Psychoneurology, headed by Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Professor Tatiana Batysheva.
For two days, the conference served as a platform where specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Italy, Armenia and other countries exchanged experience and scientific ideas. More than 600 professionals in the field of neurology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, neurophysiology, neurosurgery and physiotherapy joined the event.
A separate session of the conference was held to honor the prominent pediatric neurologist, Professor Ksenia Semenova, who passed away on October 6, 2017.
The results of scientific work conducted in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation were presented by Dr. Oleh Kachmar, the head of the Department of Innovative Technologies, and Dr. Oles Matiushenko, the research assistant of the clinic. The report opened the second day of the conference and highlighted the results of clinical studies on the effect of spinal manipulation by Kozyavkin method on muscle spasticity in patients with cerebral palsy.
