The International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) is a non-governmental organization that functions under the auspices of the World Health Organization (WHO) and unites members of physical and rehabilitation medicine organizations from 59 countries.
The organization holds annual congresses that have become increasingly popular among physical and rehabilitation medicine specialists. Last year’s congress was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and next year, it will be in Kobo, Japan.
This year, over 4,000 participants from over 100 different countries attended lectures presented by famous guest speakers of their choice in one of the six conference rooms, and took part in different seminars, master classes, debates, “meetings with experts” and many other educational events.
In the 5,000-square-metre exhibition hall, leading world manufacturers presented their physical and rehabilitation medicine equipment and services.
The International Clinic of Rehabilitation research team presented a report entitled “Effects of Spinal Manipulation on Muscle Spasticity in Patients with Cerebral Palsy”.
