2020 New Year Greeting from Volodymyr Kozyavkin

2020 New Year Greeting from Volodymyr Kozyavkin

Professor Volodymyr Kozyavkin sums up the results of the year 2019

Happy Holidays 2020

Dear Patients, Colleagues and Partners,

The year 2019 is nearing its end. It is usually the case at the end of the year to look back on the progress made, reflect on any mistakes made and enjoy the achievements. First of all, I would like to thank the entire team of our clinics for their dedicated work, professional excellence, desire to be part of a clockwork medical mechanism operating to improve the health of our patients, which is the main priority and core rationale behind our work.

I sincerely thank everyone who comes to our health centres with the hope of improving their health and that of their dearest ones. I assure you that, better than anybody, we are aware of our limitless responsibility to each of our patients, because you put your best hope in us by trusting us with your most precious treasure – your health, and we are confident that we have made, keep making and will make every effort to earn the trust and hope of everyone who has crossed the threshold of our medical facilities in hopes of a better life.

I also extend my vast gratitude to our partners, through which our rehabilitation system is actively expanding and establishing itself internationally. Thanks to you and your involvement, more and more patients have access to high-quality and effective treatment.

For us, this year was full of different events, new challenges, opportunities and successes.

We have actively developed cooperation with our existing and new international partners. In particular, we would like to single out the newly established specialised company Vivus Medical Rehabilitation Company (VMRC), whose main purpose is to make our rehabilitation system available in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. This was preceded by the execution of an investment agreement with the large international private investment firm TVM Capital Healthcare.

We continue developing our cooperation with our partners at Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Centre. In particular, in June, another rehabilitation centre offering treatment based on the Professor Kozyavkin Method was successfully launched in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and we are looking forward towards the launch of a similar centre in in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in the near future.

An important event was the execution of a cooperation agreement between ICMR and Eden Resort in Cyprus, under which Eden Resort will provide accommodation, meals, medical care, patient care, and provide all necessary facilities for the stay and rehabilitation of patients undergoing treatment based on the Professor Kozyavkin Method. Since September 2019, our patients have been able to receive high-quality rehabilitation, combining it with a real vacation in the most comfortable setting.

We have organised and participated in a range of different events, each of which is an important step that allows us to confidently move forward. This year, we are finalising the EU Horizon 2020 project GABLE, which has been praised by European Commission experts. Successful completion of one project marked the beginning of a new one, specifically, a clinical study Impact of the Intensive Neurophysiological Rehabilitation System on Children with Cerebral Palsy, with the purpose to determine the impact of INRS on the development of children's functional abilities (including gross motor skills, arm agility, self-care skills and transportation capabilities). Our colleagues have also participated in a number of scientific conferences, seminars and workshops around the world, while our research articles have been published in prestigious international journals.

I also cannot but mention our training centre, where 10 new professionals from Bahrain, Palestinian Autonomy, Morocco, Syria, India, and Saudi Arabia received theoretical training this year to continue work based on our system in the Dhahran centre, Saudi Arabia, and five of them have already completed the practical component of training.

In 2020, we will continue to work on expanding the geography of our rehabilitation system abroad, as well as implementing it in Kuwait, as negotiations with our international partners on joint projects are underway.

Taking our substantial experience with us, we are looking into this coming year with confidence that we will be instrumental in achieving the full potential of each of our patients for a healthier and happier life!

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy New Year and a merry Christmas! I sincerely believe that 2020 will be a successful and happy year one for each of you. May harmony, love and prosperity prevail in your family and peace and quiet – in our country!

Kind regards,

Volodymyr Kozyavkin
